Flexidur®
Description
Flexidur® is a PU foam which, after 3D thermocompression, provides lightweight and self-supporting parts that are particularly suitable for use in engine compartments. Characterised by low density and superior silencing performance, it offers an outstanding weight reduction of up to 75% compared to conventional solutions. In combination with technical non-wovens, it offers superior resistance to environmental factors such as fluids or high temperatures.
Application areas
Flexidur® is used in the engine compartment (engine and engine bay), in the car interior (dashboard) in the trunk (trim) and in the car exterior (fenders).
